Finally, Cairn and Vedanta have decided to remove the Non Compete Fees and pave the way for deal to happen. But in whose favour is this? Cairn or Vedanta or ONGC? Definitely it is in favour of ONGC which now will have less burden of Royalty payment on Rajasthan Block. But it is against Minority shareholders of Cairn. Cairn's Share may go down to Rs.260.
